Malachi 1:11 "For from the rising of the sun, and until its setting, My Name is great among the nations; and in every place incense is burnt, and sacrifices are offered to My Name, and a pure meal offering; for My Name is great among the nations - said Hashem of hosts"

 

Though the peoples of the world worship the host of heaven, they acknowledge that I am the First Cause. They worship the heavenly host only because they consider them intermediaries between Me and themselves.  Thus the Sages teach that the nations refer to G-d as G-d of gods.  Those who serve idols know that G-d is above all other gods.
