White Batiste Snood

Batiste fabric is a lightweight cotton blend.  It has many uses as lining, baby clothes, blouses, and is sometimes the fabric that handkerchiefs are made of. 

Batiste fabric makes a really comfortable headcovering for hot summer months and great for indoor wear during the winter months.  A nice head covering for going out in the cold due to the fabric is never bulky or heavy feeling underneath an outer garment. 

Dark batiste colors gives total coverage for most hair colors.  The lighter color batiste may be semi-sheer for those with dark hair.

Note: I sometimes interchange with broadcloth fabric which basically is the same fabric as batiste but with a slightly tighter weave.
