Silk fabric make great Snood headcoverings and is prized for its versatility, wear ability and comfort. Silk is one of the oldest and strongest of natural fibers - absorbing moisture, which makes it cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Silk retains its shape and drapes really well. There are a variety of silks and silk blends that may be available periodically - china silk, brocade silk, charmeuse (crepe back), chiffon, doupioni, georgette, silk linen, silk satin, and tussah silk (raw silk).
