Speak to the children of Yisra'el, and say to them, If any man of you bring an offering to HaShem, of the cattle shall you bring your offering, of the herd, and of the flock.

If his offering be a burnt sacrifice of the herd, let him offer a male without blemish: he shall offer it at the door of the Tent of Meeting, that he may be accepted before HaShem.

And he shall put his hand upon the head of the burnt-offering; and it shall be accepted for him to make atonement for him.

And he shall flay the burnt offering, and cut it into its pieces.

9 Vekirbo ukhra'av yirkhatz bamayim vehiktir hakohen et-hakol hamizbekhah olah isheh re'akh-nikhoakh l'HaShem.
but its inwards and its legs shall he wash with water: and the priest shall burn all on the altar, to be a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour to HaShem.

And if his offering be of the flocks, namely, of the sheep, or of the goats, for a burnt sacrifice; he shall offer it a male without blemish.

Speak to the children of Yisra'el, saying, If a soul shall sin through ignorance against any of the commandments of HaShem concerning things which ought not to be done, and shall do against any of them:

3 Im hakohen hamashi'akh yekheta le'ashmat ha'am vehikriv al khatato asher khata par ben-bakar tamim l'HaShem lekhatat.
if the priest that is anointed shall do sin to bring guiltiness on the people; then let him bring for his sin, which he has sinned, a young bullock without blemish to HaShem for a sin offering.

And he shall lift off all its fat, and burn it upon the altar.

20 Ve'asah lapar ka'asher asah lefar hakhatat ken ya'aseh-lo vekhiper alehem hakohen venislakh lahem.
And he shall do with the bullock as he did with the bullock for a sin offering, so shall he do with this: and the priest shall make atonement for them, and it shall be forgiven them.

11 Ve'im-lo tasig yado lishtey torim o lishney vney-yonah vehevi et-korbano asher khata asirit ha'efah solet lekhatat lo-yasim aleyha shemen velo-yiten aleyha levonah ki khatat hi.
But if he be not able to bring two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, then he that sinned shall bring for his offering the tenth part of an efah of fine flour for a sin offering; he shall put no oil upon it, neither shall he put any frankincense upon it: for it is a sin-offering.

12 Vehevi'ah el-hakohen vekamatz hakohen mimenah melo kumtzo et-azkaratah vehiktir hamizbekhah al-ishey HaShem khatat hi.
Then shall he bring it to the priest, and the priest shall take his handful of it, the memorial part of it, and burn it on the altar, upon the pyres of HaShem: it is a sin offering.

13 Vekhiper alav hakohen al-khatato asher-khata me'akhat me'eleh venislakh lo vehayetah lakohen kaminkhah.
And the priest shall make atonement for him in regard to his sin that he has sinned in one of these, and it shall be forgiven: and it shall be the priest's, like the meal-offering.

14 Vayedaber HaShem el-Moshe lemor.
And HaShem spoke to Moshe, saying,

15 Nefesh ki-tim'ol ma'al vekhat'ah bishgagah mikodshey HaShem vehevi et-ashamo l'HaShem ayil tamim min-hatzon be'erkekha kesef-shkalim beshekel-hakodesh le'asham.
If a person commit a trespass, and sin through ignorance, in the holy things of HaShem; then he shall bring for his guilt to HaShem a ram without blemish out of the flocks, by value (two) silver shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary, for a guilt offering.

16 Ve'et asher khata min-hakodesh yeshalem ve'et-khamishito yosef alav venatan oto lakohen vehakohen yekhaper alav be'eyl ha'asham venislakh lo.
And he shall make amends for the wrong that he has done in the holy thing, and shall add the fifth part to it, and give it to the priest: and the priest shall make atonement for him with the ram of the guilt offering, and it shall be forgiven him.

And if a person sin, and commit any of these things which are forbidden to be done by the commandments of HaShem; though he know it not, yet he is guilty, and shall bear his iniquity.

And he shall bring a ram without blemish out of the flock, according to the valuation, for a guilt offering, to the priest: and the priest shall make atonement for him concerning his ignorance wherein he erred and knew it not, and it shall be forgiven him.

19 Asham hu ashom asham l'HaShem.
It is a guilt offering: he is certainly trespassed against HaShem.

20 Vayedaber HaShem el-Moshe lemor.
And HaShem spoke unto Moshe, saying,

If a person sin, and commit a trespass against HaShem, and lie to his neighbour in that which was delivered him to keep, or in a loan, or in a thing taken away by violence, or have wronged his neighbour;

22 O-matza avedah vekhikhesh bah venishba al-shaker al-akhat mikol asher-ya'aseh ha'adam lakhato vahenah.
or have found that which was lost, and have lied concerning it, and have sworn falsely; in any of all these that a man does, sinning in that:

23 Vehayah ki-yekhetah ve'ashem veheshiv et-hagzelah asher gazal o et-ha'oshek asher ashak o et-hapikadon asher hofkad ito o et-ha'avedah asher matza.
then it shall be, because he has sinned, and is guilty, that he shall restore that which he took violently away, or the thing which he has deceitfully acquired, or that which was delivered him to keep, or the lost thing which he found,

or all that about which he has sworn falsely; he shall even restore it in the principal, and shall add the fifth part more to it, and give it to him to whom it belongs, in the day of his trespass offering;

25 Ve'et-ashamo yavi l'HaShem ayil tamim min-hatzon be'erkekha le'asham el-hakohen.
And he shall bring his guilt offering to HaShem, a ram without blemish out of the flock, according to the value of a guilt offering, to the priest:

26 Vekhiper alav hakohen lifney HaShem venislakh lo al-akhat mikol asher-ya'aseh le'ashmah vah.
and the priest shall make atonement for him before HaShem: and it shall be forgiven him for anything of all that he has done wherein to incur guilt.
