The Secret's Out

Hailed as one of the greatest scientific achievements, the recently completed Genome project unravels "the language in which G-d created life."

Even rational scientists have called it "absolutely mind-boggling," and medical experts expect this milestone discovery to revolutionize disease control.

For comparison, let us first consider these numbers:

The U.S. Postal Service delivered one hundred and seven billion pieces of First Class mail in 1998. About 4 trillion e-mail messages were sent that year.

Do you have any idea how big these numbers are? A million seconds is 11 days, a billion seconds is 33 years, and a trillion seconds adds up to 34,446 years!

Each human body has 100 trillion cells! The nucleus of most of these 100 trillion cells contains a complete set of the body's blueprints, twisted into 46 packets called chromosomes. Unravel a chromosome and you get a threadlike molecule with a twisted, ladder-shaped structure called DNA, the famous double helix.

The human body has approximately 30,000 genes, 3 billion chemical pairs in its DNA, and over 10 billion neurons in the brain. And we haven't even scratched the surface.

Now, imagine a factory with over a million different machines; each machine coordinates perfectly with all the others to produce a superior product. Can you rationally say that such a factory exists by accident, and that its product is just a coincidence?

As we approach the Messianic era when "Divine knowledge will fill the world as the water covers the sea," we are getting a closer glimpse of the ultimate Divine reality. All we need to do is open our eyes.

In the times of Moshiach we will see how everything is created and constantly energized by G-d, and realize how all of nature is actually an expression of G-dliness. What we are beginning to see now is but a foretaste of more to come!
