Thus said Ad-nai HASHEM: When I gather in the House of Yisrael from the peoples among whom they were scattered, then I will be sanctified through them in the eyes of the nations, and they will dwell on their land that I gave to My servant, to Yaakov.

They will dwell upon it in security and build houses and plant vineyards and dwell in security, when I execute judgments upon all those who despoil them from all their surroundings; then they will know that I am HASHEM, their G-d.
29:1 Bashanah ha'asirit ba'asiri bishneim asar lachodesh hayah dvar-HASHEM elai lemor.
In the tenth year, in the tenth [month], on the twelfth of the month, the word of HASHEM came to me, saying,
2 Ben-adam sim paneicha al-par'oh melech Mitzrayim vehinave alav ve'al-Mitzrayim kulah.
"Son of Man, direct your face towards Pharaoh, king of Egypt, and prophecy of concerning him and concerning all of Egypt.

Speak and say: Thus said Ad-nai HASHEM: Behold, I am against you, Pharaoh, king of Egypt, the great serpent that crouches within its rivers, who has said, 'Mine is my river, and I have made myself [powerful].'
4 Venatati chachim bilchayeicha vehidbakti degat-yeoreicha bekaskesoteicha veha'aliticha mitoch yeoreicha ve'et kol-dgat yeoreicha bekaskesoteicha tidbak.

and I will cast you into the wilderness, you and all the fish of your rivers. You will fall upon the surface of the open field; you will not be gathered in and not be collected together; I will present you as food to the beast of the land and to the bird of the heavens.
6 Veyad'u kol-yoshvei Mitzrayim ki ani HASHEM ya'an heyotam mish'enet kaneh leveit Yisrael.
Then all the inhabitants of Egypt will know that I am HASHEM, because they were a reed-like support for the House of Yisrael -
7 Betofsam becha vakaf terotz uvakata lahem kol-katef uvehisha'anam aleicha tishaver veha'amadeta lahem kol-motnayim.
whenever they held you in their hand you would snap, piercing their every shoulder, and whenever they leaned upon you, you would break and make their loins stand upright.

Therefore, thus said my Master HASHEM: Behold, I am bringing a sword against you and I will eliminate from you man and animal.
9 Vehayetah eretz Mitzrayim lishmamah vecharbah veyade'u ki-ani HASHEM ya'an amar Yeor li va'ani asiti.
The land of Egypt will become desolate and a ruin; then they will know that I am HASHEM - because he said, 'The river is mine and I have made [it].'
10 Lachen hineni eleicha ve'el-yeoreicha venatati et-eretz Mitzrayim lechorvot chorev shmamah miMigdol Sveneh ve'ad-gvul Kush.
Therefore, behold, I am against you and against your rivers, and I will make the land of Egypt into destroyed and desolate ruins, from Migdol to Seveneh to the border of Kush.
11 Lo-ta'avor bah regel adam veregel behemah lo ta'avor-bah velo teshev arba'im shanah.
The foot of a man will not traverse it, and the foot of an animal will not traverse it; and it will not be inhabited for forty years.

I will make the land of Egypt desolate among desolate lands, and its cities will be desolate among destroyed cities for forty years; and I will scatter Egypt among the nations and disperse them through the lands.
13 Ki koh amar Ad-nai HASHEM miketz arba'im shanah akabetz et-Mitzrayim min-ha'amim asher-nafotzu shamah.
For thus said Ad-nai HASHEM: At the end of forty years I will gather Egypt from the nations where they were scattered,
14 Veshavti et-shvut Mitzrayim vahashivoti otam eretz Patros al-eretz mechuratam vehayu sham mamlachah shfalah.
and I will return the captivity of Egypt and bring them back to the land of Patros, upon their native land, and they will be a lowly kingdom there.
15 Min-hamamlachot tihyeh shfalah velo-titnase od al-hagoyim vehim'atetim levilti redot bagoyim.
It will be the lowest of the kingdoms, and it will not exalt itself again above the nations; and I will diminish them, so that they not dominate nations.
16 Velo yihyeh-od leveit Yisrael lemivtach mazkir avon bifnotam achareihem veyade'u ki ani Ad-nai HASHEM.
They will no longer be a guarantor for the House of Yisrael, recalling their iniquity, when they looked to them [for help]; then they will know that I am Ad-nai HASHEM.
17 Vayehi be'esrim vasheva shanah barishon be'echad lachodesh hayah dvar-HASHEM elai lemor.
It happened in the twenty-seventh year, in the first [month], on the first of the month, that the word of HASHEM came to me, saying,
18 Ben-adam Nevuchaderetzar melech-Bavel he'evid et-cheilo avodah gdolah el-Tzor kol-rosh mukrach vechol-katef merutah vezachar lo-hayah lo ulcheilo miTzor al-ha'avodah asher-avad aleiha.
"Son of Man: Nevuchaderetzar, king of Babylonia, has pressed his army to perform a difficult labor against Tyre; every head was made bald and every shoulder peeled; and he and his army had no reward from Tyre for the labor that they had performed against her.
19 Lachen koh amar Ad-nai HASHEM hineni noten liNvuchadretzar melech-Bavel et-eretz Mitzrayim venasa hamonah veshalal shlalah uvazaz bizah vehayetah sachar lecheilo.
Therefore, thus said Adonai HASHEM: Behold, I am giving the land of Egypt to Nevuchadretzar, king of Babylonia; he will carry off its multitude and seize its booty and take its plunder, and that will be the reward for his army.
20 Pe'ulato asher-avad bah natati lo et-eretz Mitzrayim asher asu li ne'um Ad-nai HASHEM.
In return for the labor that he did there, I have given him the land of Egypt, because of what they did to Me - the word of Ad-nai HASHEM.
21 Bayom hahu atzmiach keren leveit Yisrael ulecha eten pitchon-peh betocham veyad'u ki-ani HASHEM.
On that day I will cause the might of the House of Yisrael to sprout, and I will thus grant you an opening of the mouth in their midst, and they will know that I am HASHEM.
