The son of an Israeli woman went out, and he ws the son of an Egyptian man, among the Children of Yisrael.  They argued in the encampment - the son of the Yisraeli woman, and the Yisraeli man.

They placed him in the guardhouse until [his penalty] would be explained to them through the word of HASHEM."

HASHEM spoke to Moshe, saying,

14 Hotze et-hamekalel el-michutz lamachaneh vesamechu chol-hashom'im et-yedeihem al-rosho veragmu oto kol-ha'edah
"Take the blasphemer beyond the encampment, and all those who heard him shall lay their hands on his head and the entire congregation shall stone him.

15 Ve'el-benei Yisra'el tedaber lemor ish ish ki-yekalel Elokav venasa chet'o
And to the Children of Yisrael you shall speak, saying, Any person who shall blaspheme his G-d shall bear [the burden of] his sin.

16 Venokev shem-HASHEM mot yumat ragom yirgemu-vo kol-ha'edah kager ka'ezrach benokvo-shem yumat

17 Ve'ish ki yakeh kol-nefesh adam mot yumat
Any man who kills any human being must surely be put to death.

18 Umakeh nefesh-behemah yeshalmenah nefesh tachat nafesh
Whoever kills an animal shall pay for it, [the compensation of] an animal for an animal.

19 Ve'ish ki-yiten mum ba'amito ka'asher asah ken ye'aseh lo
A man who maims his neighbor, just as he did, so shall be done to him.

20 Shever tachat shever ayin tachat ayin shen tachat shen ka'asher yiten mum ba'adam ken yinaten bo
[Compensation for] a broken bone [in exchange] for a broken bone, [compensation for] the loss of an eye [in exchange] for the loss of an eye, [compensation for] the loss of a tooth [in exchange] for the loss of a tooth; just as he maimed the man, so shall it be done to him [monetarily].
