Head Coverings Sizing Guide
Find the right fit for your Bucharian kippah, scarf, or snood.
Some head coverings are sized by head circumference, while others are sized by the room needed for your hair. Start with the guide for your style, then check the available sizes in the individual product listing.
Bucharian Kippah: Measure Your Head Circumference
- Use a soft, flexible measuring tape.
- Wrap it around your head about 1 inch above your eyebrows, keeping the tape level around the back.
- Keep the tape comfortably snug without pulling it tight.
- Record the circumference in inches. If you are between the listed sizes, choose the next size up.

Circumference means the distance around your head. It is different from the diameter measurement used for flat, round lace doilies.
Triangular Scarves, Tichels, Mitpachat & Veils
For styles offered in multiple sizes, use your hair length as a starting point. Hair thickness, how you arrange your hair, and the coverage you prefer can also affect the fit.
Size availability varies by design. Scarf sizes are XS, Small, and Medium. Large scarves are no longer offered. Oval cuts are available only where noted in the listing.

Snoods: Choose the Pouch Size for Your Hair
The snood size refers to the length and room in the back pouch that holds your hair. The tying design lets you adjust the snugness around your head.
The examples show how the pouch length increases with each size. Choose your size based on your hair length and thickness.
